Wiping Hard Drive

Erasing, deleting file or reformatting a hard drive does not mean you can diminish everthing that was originally saved on it. You need to wipe a hard drive to completely erase everything. Wiping hard drive should be done properly as the data maybe be invisible but if someone uses a a file recovery program, it should be able to restore that file back to it's state and if you are hiding some information, that can be revealed. Make sure that you seek professional computer expert if you want to destruct all the files on a hard drive that you don't want anymore or may have contained confidential information that you want to erase.
